Hello. I’m actor Do-you Kim, who strives to be a good person. After thinking about how to describe myself clearly, I chose to express myself as a “good person.” I believe working with a good person is above all else. I consider what makes someone a good person, and I try to amplify my strengths while compensating for my weaknesses. I like people. I enjoy watching the many faces of people, and I make an effort to discover their good points. I find happiness in cultivating relationships with others without destroying myself. I believe my natural talent for the acting profession is to meet a variety of people, cherish the relationships we form, and produce positive outcomes through collaborative processes. However, because I tend to read the room and adjust, I feel I don’t know myself very well yet. I’ve realized that it’s unhealthy for someone to be there without me, so I’m trying to discover the true me. My motto is: “Live firmly, but speak softly.” I study and think a lot, so I’ll be firm, but I won’t coerce and I’ll know how to converse in a gentle tone. That, to me, is a good person.
