I worked as a child actor from the age of four until just before entering middle school. In my early years, preparing for auditions and experiences on set taught me the joy of standing on stage and in front of the camera, and the appeal of conveying emotions to people through acting. However, when I reached middle school, my parents advised, “You can still act when you’re an adult, so for now, why not focus on studying?” I took that to heart and devoted myself to academics.

High school and the years of preparation for re-taking exams were not easy, but even then the longing to act grew stronger. I was certain that I would start acting again once I became an adult, and that conviction became the biggest incentive to continue my studies. After re-taking exams, I entered Sungkyunkwan University with the class of 24XX, and now I am academically stable enough to mentor five third-year high school students.

After entering university, I immediately enrolled in an acting academy. For a year I consistently learned projection, breathing, emotional expression, and line delivery required for adult acting, gaining depth and technique completely different from my childhood years. Most importantly, I realized how serious and passionate I am about acting through this process. Nowadays, my parents fully support my dream and even drive me to the academy themselves to show their encouragement.

My goal is not merely to become an actor. I want to be an actor whom audiences and viewers recognize as truly good at acting. I know this requires constant practice and a wide range of experiences.

Child acting and adult acting are clearly different. Therefore I gave myself plenty of time to relearn from the basics, practiced various scenes and emotions to build my skills, and I want to learn on set and refine in actual works.

I have prepared with all my heart and am someone who does not fear new challenges. I will deliver deeper acting and grow into an actor whose sincerity reaches the public.
