Hello, I am actor Yuyeon Choi.

The drama Miracle, in which I appeared as part of a girl group debut, aired in Japan and Southeast Asia.

Because I played an idol role, I am confident in dancing and delivering energy on stage.

In the drama The Flower That Blooms at Night, the scene ends with senior Lee Ha-ynae appearing again to save me, and that moment has left a deeper meaning for me as it felt like she saved me.

Perhaps because of experiences like this, I often hear that I have a Korean face that suits historical dramas.

I am expanding myself across stage and media, in different rhythms.

In theater, I show a slightly dark side of me that avoids people to ease the hearts of our fast-changing times and the wounds within us.

On that stage, I perform hoping someone’s heart will pause for a moment and be comforted.

Also, I enjoy sharing my charm and daily life with fans through Instagram and connecting with them.

I love weaving the lives of the characters I meet, painting their colors and textures one by one.

When the character I have carefully crafted breathes on stage or screen, I feel that the character inside me also breathes with them.
