Hello, I’m Seongmuk Choi, an early bird who wants to become an actor. Acting is so enjoyable that I’m taking acting classes and continually building filming experience. In my youth I had dreams of acting, but I was from a very rural place and I didn’t know how to approach it or what to do. Now, through YouTube and online media, I see people succeeding and I study memorable lines and scenes from dramas and films, empathize with the characters’ emotions, and imagine how I would have acted in those roles. I’m consuming works with thoughts like “what would the author have thought?” And I don’t think it’s late even if others consider it late. I love the saying “the early bird catches the worm.” I’m always working harder—twice or thrice as hard as others. Just as there’s no failure if you don’t start, I don’t think it’s too late to begin. From now on I want to approach my childhood dreams, and I’m a challenger with many things I want to do and I’m strict about punctuality, so I’m incredibly diligent. Please keep using me and nurture me. I will also study more about the works I’m part of to avoid causing any harm and I will endlessly study to blend well with the character in the piece.
