Hello, I’m Oh Changhyuk, 183 cm tall, 63 kg, born in 1998.

Since I was young, I loved looking in the mirror. With my parents both working, I spent a lot of time alone at home, and I would act as if I were a news announcer from a TV program, speaking to the mirror, sometimes crying, sometimes laughing—like a little play. If my mother had seen that, she might have taken me straight to a hospital (laugh).

When I reached my late teens, I told my mother, “I will become an actor!” Of course she was startled, but I didn’t just say “I want to do this.” I drew my own PT for my dreams, goals, and future, as if preparing a school presentation with a PPT. So I decided to become an actor and enrolled in Dankook University’s Theater and Film. I’m writing this self-introduction while recalling the challenges from the past.

Honestly, I still don’t know how to express myself well. I may not be able to express myself well in words, but I think I can express this in one sentence: “a quiet attention seeker who wants to dance in a chaotic life.” No one can predict what I’ll be doing 10 or 20 years from now, but I want to be someone who embraces the future despite fears and enjoys it. — Oh Changhyuk
