Hello, I’m actor Jongduk Kim. Despite my intimidating appearance, I’m full of laughter and have a strong, rubber-band-like perseverance and solid mental fortitude. I originally studied police science, but after feeling a dissonance and pain with a major life event, I switched paths to study acting so I could learn from and feel a variety of people. Since I started, I’ve seen the world more broadly and realized I was like a frog in a well—limited in my own view.

As I walk or wait for the subway or bus, I find myself continually observing people’s expressions and how they speak. I deeply understand and empathize with people, and I love feeling the times they experience under the same sky and shared moments.

I’m still learning a lot, but I want to bring out the countless emotions, experiences, and perspectives within me to paint sincerity for the audience as an actor.
