Hello, I'm Hye-won Lee.

I often imagine, 'What would I do if I were in that situation?' Through that supposition, I have practiced delving deeply into a character's emotions and choices, and through this process I have learned to understand characters more three-dimensionally and to empathize sincerely.

I have one hobby that strengthens this imagination: studying emotions and psychology by reading academic papers. I have always enjoyed reading, but by steadily studying papers in psychology and various other fields, I have gained a broad perspective on people's inner lives and emotional currents. These moments help me trace a character's emotional arc and hidden motives.

Additionally, many people say I am more mature and calmer than my peers, and I can focus on looking at and expressing emotions more delicately thanks to this temperament.

For me, acting is about filling the empty space between emotion and existence. Within it are emotions that cannot be fully expressed in words, reasons hidden behind actions, and unseen elements like silence that hold emotions. Therefore, I strive not to merely perform a role, but to explore and understand why those words and actions were spoken or done, until the end. Through that process, I spend time examining myself and others more deeply.

I will continue to learn and challenge myself, and I want to become an actor who embraces diverse possibilities without setting limits. Thank you.
