Hello, I’m actor Junhee Kim.

I originally did R&B music. I lived thinking singing on stage was everything, but at some point I wanted to tell real “human stories” deeper than lyrics, so I dove into acting without looking back, at the age of 27, much later than others, and enrolled in Yongin University’s Department of Theater.

Because I started late, I focused obsessively on training at school. But staying only inside the school wasn’t enough to quench my thirst, so I stepped out into the real world and learned through external works that acting isn’t just a technique, it’s a reflection of the life attitude a actor carries.

Thanks to my musical background, I’m confident in the rhythm and breath of lines. But what I truly want to show isn’t flashy technique; it’s the earnestness of an actor who, having started late, has no room to retreat and whose raw, true feelings are laid bare.

I want to be an actor who isn’t just a “singer-turned-actor,” but someone who makes it clear, for this role, “this person is the only one for it.” If you cast me in any role, I will prove on set why I gave up music to pursue acting with real skill.
