Hello! I’m actor Im Ji-yu, whose hobbies and specialties include acting!

My motto is 'The one who works hard cannot beat the one who enjoys it.'

My life motto is 'I won’t do things that aren’t fun.'

This motto was set when I paused acting due to financial reasons and did work I didn’t want to do, which led to a mental health issue, and I decided to return to acting.

Looking back on my life, when I lost interest in something I’d often quit quickly, but I never lost interest in acting, dancing, or singing.

So I’m confident in acting. It isn’t that I’m making efforts to act; I love the work itself so much that I spend time analyzing and practicing for it.

I believe that those who enjoy something cannot be defeated by anyone. Practicing to achieve perfection even when I don’t feel like it, and diving into practice because it’s fun, are different things!

I can enjoy any role, any character.

Even roles that I wonder if they’ll be fun become truly enjoyable as I dive into them!
