To me, acting is the only medium through which I can fully express myself. Even when people around me mock me by saying, “What kind of actor are you?” or “Go get a real job,” I am happiest when I am acting before the audience or in front of the camera. I have continued to study, observe, and practice, portraying diverse characters such as a drunkard, a juror, a student, and a killer, in order to genuinely convey the stories they intend to tell. The catharsis I feel when I convey the complex emotions of these characters on stage or in front of the camera is the driving force of my acting. Actor Kwon Soon-mo will keep challenging himself. I will not falter, and with every role I undertake, I will constantly study and work hard so as not to let that character down. I aim to grow into an actor who can move audiences with empathy and inspiration.
