Hello, I’m actress Jo Hye-su!

As someone who can comfortably use English and Korean, I enjoy expressing not only language but also the nuances of culture in my acting. Growing up with both Korean and English-speaking cultures, I often get told I look and sound like a fluent expat, perhaps because of my appearance and pronunciation. Thanks to my understanding of both languages and cultures, I’m good at connecting different worlds and weaving nuances that people from diverse backgrounds can recognize and understand into my performances.

I’ve always been active and curious, continually expanding hobbies that use my body and voice. I can imitate things quickly after first seeing or hearing them, so I often receive comments about my quick learning and execution when taking on something new. Consequently, I’m more comfortable with physical reactions and expression, and my acting tends to feel natural in terms of bodily sensation and movement.

My personality is calm but energetic. I enjoy listening to other people’s stories, meeting and talking with many people, and I handle stress and tension with emotional stability. From living in a dorm since middle school, I’ve adapted quickly to unfamiliar environments and become good at teamwork. I’m naturally positive and strive to bring bright energy to those around me.
