Hello, I’m Song Woo-woon, the actor who will be nominated for Best Actor in the future. I served eight years in the army, as a sergeant in an elite unit, and after leaving the military I pursued acting. About half of the ten people who supported me, rather than encouraged me, criticized me. If I had simply stayed in the military until retirement, I could have spent my old age comfortably, but I chose to discharge from service and follow my one life—my only chance—to do what I want.
