Hello, I’m actor Lee Sang-hoon, 32 years old.

After completing military service at 23, I enrolled in the Department of Architecture and participated in a theater club to mingle with students from other majors.

I grew up in a rural area and had almost no interest in culture or the arts. I first saw a play at 23, and I was captivated by the energy the actors gave on stage.

In 2017 I took a leave of absence and joined a working actors’ musical group, then in 2018 joined a theater company as an actor and spent about eight months with the company. In 2019 I served as a stage and lighting supervisor at a group.

After that I balanced acting, staff work, and part-time jobs. In 2022 I married, gave up the actor path to take on the role of a husband, and in 2024 I began pursuing acting again.

My strengths are not in acting technique or professional approaches, but in observing and understanding people who have lived different lives through various experiences, and using that understanding to express them as my tool.
