Hello. I want to be an actor who leaves as much “trust” as “emotion” on set. I believe acting is the result of not only talent but also preparation, attitude, and teamwork, so I clarify the scene’s goal and the character’s core before stepping onto the set.

When reading the script, I don’t divide the character into good or evil. I first read the reasons, fears, and habits that the person had no choice but to choose. When the audience feels, “I understand this person,” the story gains power.

On set, instead of insisting on my own way of directing, I choose to quickly find an answer as close to the intention as possible and show it repeatedly. The strength is to change quickly but not superficially, and to maintain concentration even as takes stack.

I want to persuade the nuances of characters with responsibilities, anxieties, face, and desires that come from life experiences through detail—the lengths of sentences, breaths, and the 0.5-second reactions that solidify the character—prioritizing the scene coming alive over who shines, whether lead or supporting.
